How do I re-order checks online?

There are two ways to order checks online. If you are enrolled in AnchorBank online banking, you can log in to online banking and click on the “user services” tab, followed by the reorder checks link.  

If you are not an online banking customer, you can enroll and order through online banking, or you can order directly through the Deluxe website. The Deluxe Web address is: Deluxe website

Please note: Standard fees apply when ordering online. If your account type qualifies you for free checks, please order checks by calling 1-800-25 ANCHOR (252-6246) or stop by your nearby AnchorBank location to avoid a charge.

What is AnchorBank's routing number?

AnchorBank's routing number is 275971087. You will need to know this number if you are setting up direct deposit to your AnchorBank checking account.

Please note: When providing your checking account number to set up direct deposit, please use the full ten digit account number.

What happens if my ATM or debit card is captured by an ATM?

  • If your debit or ATM card is captured, please call our TeleBranch at 1-800-25 ANCHOR (252-6246) and press option #4 to speak to a representative.
  • If it is made after normal business hours, call our TeleBranch and choose option #3 for detailed instructions on the steps you should take.

Please note: If you are at an ATM and your ATM or debit card is rejected twice for any reason, stop. Call 1-800-25 ANCHOR (252-6246) and choose option #3. A third attempt will block your account.

How do I change the personal identification number (PIN) on my debit/ATM card?

As an AnchorBank debit card holder, you can change the PIN on your card at any time from any AnchorBank ATM. To do this, simply visit your local AnchorBank ATM, insert your debit card into the machine and enter your current PIN to begin the transaction. Select “Change PIN” and enter in a new PIN that will be easy for you to remember. You will be prompted to enter your new PIN twice to confirm your selection. Your new PIN will be activated immediately.

What do I do if I have forgotten my PIN?

If you have forgotten your current AnchorBank debit card PIN you have two options:

Request a PIN reminder. A PIN reminder can be requested at your neighborhood AnchorBank branch or by calling our TeleBranch at 1-800-25 ANCHOR (252-6246). A reminder of your current PIN will be sent through the mail and can be expected within four to five business days of being requested. There is a $3.00 fee for all PIN reminders.

Once the PIN reminder is received, you can use it to change your PIN to one that is easier to remember. See the question above for how to change your PIN.

If you do not want to incur the $3.00 fee for a PIN reminder, please follow the steps listed below. 

Step #1: Complete the Visa® debit card PIN Request Form
Print and complete the information on both the upper and lower sections of the
 Visa debit card PIN Request Form.

Step #2: Mailing
Mail your Visa debit card along with the top portion of the Visa debit card PIN Request Form in an envelope addressed to:

Mail the lower portion of the Visa debit card PIN Request Form in an envelope addressed to:

Please note:

  • AnchorBank will not be responsible for Visa debit cards lost in the mail.
  • If a Visa debit card and a PIN request are sent in the same envelope, AnchorBank will destroy the card.
  • These steps were designed to ensure the safety of your card and the privacy of your new PIN. If you have any questions, please ask. We will be happy to assist you.
  • You will receive your card back in the mail in 10 to 14 days.

The safety of your Visa debit card and your accounts are very important to AnchorBank. Your Visa debit card will be returned to you by mail as soon as possible. If you do not receive it in 14 days, please notify your local branch or call our TeleBranch™ at 1-800-25 ANCHOR (252-6246).
