INTEREST ON LAWYERS' TRUST ACCOUNT CHECKING 

Interest on Lawyers' Trust Account Checking (IOLTA) checking is available for attorneys who are required by law to maintain an interest-bearing trust account for client deposits of retainer fees. These funds must be kept separate from other funds.

The rate varies. Interest posts quarterly and all interest earned is paid to the State of Wisconsin to fund state-assisted legal help for those who need it. For details, see our rates table.
